This was a personal project to rebrand Royal Mail.

The current logo uses an image emblem and it is something that signifies royalty, longevity and respect so I wanted to create something that still included this but also include something that was more modern and represented how far the brand has come.  


I chose two different typefaces, a script for the letter R in Royal and a sans serif typeface for the letter M in Mail. 

Keeping the recognisable red for the existing branding, the red letter R wraps around the black M type face to connect the old and the new together.
