MARKED BY TEACHERS HOMEPAGE REDESIGN
Redesign of the Marked by Teachers homepage to promote the key tools and areas of the site, as well as pulling in recent content and promoting the ability to search.
The main aim of this page was to providing multiple ways to get users to content that is relevant or useful to them. Most users that visit the site are after a particular topic and the fastest and most accurate way to get the to a relevant piece of content is to provide a search tool.
Marked by Teachers has a wide range of content and tools on the site to helps user create better essays which were required to be promoted on the homepage and used as an way of navigation. These were displayed at the top of the page as small promotional areas but then again in more detail and in a larger area further down the page.
At the bottom of the page there are sections that pull in latest and top content which shows that the site is regularly being added to by users and also shows what other essays users are engaging with.
