This was a project to redesign the templates for the main areas of the website for Go Bespoke, a luxury holiday travel company.

 

Go Bespoke are a holiday company that specialise in creating bespoke, well crafted luxury holiday experiences and they required their website to reflect this and be the start of a great holiday experience. They wanted to use beautiful imagery of their properties and locations, strong typography to create an elegant, luxury look and feel.

With a portfolio of properties ranges from stunning villas, ultra chic honeymoon getaways, chalets and off the beaten track retreats and boutique hotels Go Bespoke had an array of beautiful imagery to showcase the properties and experiences. The layout supports the beautiful imagery, using full width banners and images within grids.

Strong typography. A new font pairing was needed and I choose the serif font Lato for the headings and paired it with a paragraph font of Poppins. The use of call to actions is minimal, using clickable images and blocks so the user is not distracted by too many buttons.

I choose to use a limited colour palette, using gold to represent luxury, light shades of grey and faint white opacities to overlay over images without detracting from the stunning photography. Small design embellishments in gold were used to break up the use of photographs and add a elegant touch. Some darker overlays were used to display text over images.
