Armstrong Cary LLP are Chartered Certified Accountants, who approached me to modernise their very dated logo. Their brief was to completely refresh the brand using a colour scheme sharp black, red & white, and have something that represented the business and themselves, unlike their previously logo. 


Armstrong liked the idea of playing with something that represented balance sheets so to give the idea of balance I explored some ideas around triangles, symmetric and mirrored shapes. I also wanted to explore ideas around the letters A and C as not only are they the initials of the company name but also of the type of company they are. 


After the logo was created Armstrong Cary asked for it to be used on Business cards and a letterhead template. The business card is the most important piece of branding to the business as most of the business is done in person, not online and these cards are given out to clients and what the clients would use to get in contact with them.


The letterhead is an important document that doesn't require a lot of branding on as their clients required the information in the document to be ​clear and not distracted. I followed a similar structure to the current template however it used various different fonts and didn't have a clear heirachy.
